Optic chiasm

In neuroanatomy, the optic chiasm (/ˈkaɪ.æzəm, ˈkiː-/), or optic chiasma (from Greek χίασμα (khíasma) 'crossing', from Ancient Greek χιάζω (khiázō) 'to mark with an X'), is the part of the brain where the optic nerves cross.
