Data & methodology
How Topicstotalkabout turns source material into a research map — and where the limitations are.
Primary source
Topicstotalkabout currently uses Wikipedia article content and structure as its primary source material. An article can contain section headings, internal links, infobox information and descriptive text. TTTA transforms those signals into research views; it does not present itself as an independent encyclopedia.
What the tool extracts
The analysis can include related topics grouped by source section, structured subject–predicate–object relationships, terminology and phrase statistics, graph connectivity measures, concept neighborhoods and bridge nodes between different parts of the map. Not every article contains every type of useful signal.
How pages are generated
When a topic is analyzed for the first time, the source content is processed into a topical-map payload. The generated result is stored so repeat visits can be served from the TopicsToTalkAbout database instead of repeatedly requesting the same source article. Interactive visualizations are enhanced in the browser, while core result content can be rendered in server HTML.
What the scores and relationships mean
Some relationships come from strongly structured source fields; others are inferred from article sections or text and therefore have lower confidence. Graph statistics describe the generated network, not popularity or search-engine importance. Word and phrase frequency describes the source material, not a required SEO keyword list.
Limitations
Results are generated automatically and may contain ambiguous, incomplete, duplicated or noisy relationships. Wikipedia itself can contain errors or change over time. Topicstotalkabout should be used for discovery and research planning, not as the sole source for factual claims, professional advice or search-engine recommendations.
SEO and editorial use
A larger map does not mean a page should contain every entity or phrase shown. Use the output to understand the subject, identify useful research directions and make editorial decisions. Search rankings or traffic improvements are never guaranteed.
Languages
TTTA can work with multiple Wikipedia language editions. The product interface is primarily English, while source headings and entities can remain in their original language. Coverage and extraction quality can vary by language and by article.
