Hydrangea (/haɪˈdreɪndʒə/ or /haɪˈdreɪndʒiə/) is a genus of more than 70 species of flowering plants native to Asia and the Americas. Hydrangea is also used as the common name for the genus; some (particularly H. macrophylla) are also often called hortensia.
