Peptid

Peptid (řecky πεπτικις peptikos „stravitelný“ nebo πεπτις peptos „vařený“) je chemická sloučenina organického původu, která vzniká spojením několika aminokyselin peptidovou vazbou. Všechny peptidy, kromě cyklických peptidů, mají na konci řetězce N-konec (aminovou skupinu) a C-konec (karboxylovou skupinu).
