Peebles (Scottish Gaelic: Na Pùballan) is a town in the Scottish Borders, Scotland. It was historically a royal burgh and the county town of Peeblesshire. In 2022, the town's population was 9,108, which had been previously estimated a population of 9,000 in mid-2020.
