Hamama (Arabic: حمامة) was a Palestinian town of over 5,000 inhabitants that was depopulated during the 1948 Arab–Israeli War. It was located 24 kilometers north of Gaza. It was continuously inhabited from the Mamluk period (c. 1270) until 1948.
