The Esocoidei (/ˈiːsɒsɪfɔːrmiːz/) is a small suborder of freshwater ray-finned fish, one of two suborders in the order Salmoniformes. It contains two families, Umbridae and Esocidae. The pikes of genus Esox give the order its name.
