Zevar (Sparganium) je rod jednoděložných rostlin z bývalé čeledi zevarovité. Čeleď zevarovité (Sparganiaceae) obsahovala pouze 1 rod: zevar (Sparganium). V systému APG III není čeleď zevarovitých uznávána a rod zevar je společně s rodem orobinec (Typha) dáván do čeledi orobincovitých (Typhaceae).
