Ironie (řec. eironeia, zastírání, předstíraná nevědomost) je literární nebo řečnická forma, která dosahuje zvláštní, často humorný účinek tím, že vyslovuje něco podstatně jiného než skutečně míní: může přehánět, zastírat nebo říkat přímý opak.
