Vločkovci

Vločkovci (Placozoa) jsou jedním z nejpůvodnějších kmenů živočichů, zahrnující druhy s nejjednodušší tělesnou stavbou. Jejich drobné tělo (do 3 mm) se skládá jen z několika typů buněk, které ani netvoří tkáně (pouze dvě vrstvy, mezi kterými je syncitiální mezenchym). Poprvé byli pozorováni v 80. letech 19. století, a to pouze v akváriích.
