Propen (propylen) je uhlovodík ze skupiny alkenů – tedy lineárních uhlovodíků s dvojnou vazbou. Za normálních podmínek (pokojová teplota, normální tlak) jde o bezbarvý plyn bez zápachu (někdy může zapáchat po česneku). Je extrémně hořlavý.
