Pitva

Pitva, taktéž obdukce, sekce nebo autopsie, je druh medicínského nebo veterinárního úkonu, při kterém odborný specialista rozděluje mrtvé tělo na části. Cílem pitvy je určit příčinu smrti daného člověka či zvířete nebo pochopit tvar a funkci jednotlivých orgánů a soustav. Pitvy se používá i při výuce zdravotníků a veterinárních či zemědělských specialistů.
