Galvanický článek

Galvanický článek (voltaický článek) je elektrochemický článek, ve kterém je elektrický proud generován spontánními oxidačně-redukčními reakcemi. Skládá se ze dvou poločlánků, které jsou tvořeny dvěma elektrodami ponořenými v elektrolytu. Využívají ionizaci a jsou chemickým zdrojem elektrického napětí.
