Edaphosaurus („Pozemní ještěr“) je rod vymřelého primitivního býložravého pelykosaura. Žil v období konce karbonu a permu (mladší prvohory, asi před 300 miliony let). Jeho zvláštním znakem byla výrazná hřbetní plachta, sloužící zřejmě k termoregulaci.
