Břízovité (Betulaceae) je čeleď vyšších dvouděložných rostlin z řádu bukotvaré (Fagales). Jsou to keře a stromy s jednoduchými střídavými listy a květy v převislých nebo vzpřímených jednopohlavných jehnědách. Vyskytují se v počtu 145 druhů v 6 rodech v mírném pásu severní polokoule, místy přesahují do tropických hor.
