Autismus nebo též autizmus (z řec. αὐτός autos, sám) je vývojová porucha, projevující se abnormální sociální interakcí, stálými opakujícími se vzorci chování a narušenými komunikačními schopnostmi. Objevuje se před třetím rokem života. Patří mezi poruchy autistického spektra (PAS).
