Turnov (Czech pronunciation: ; German: Turnau) is a town in Semily District in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 15,000 inhabitants. The town is located on the Jizera River in the Jičín Uplands, and is a gateway to the Bohemian Paradise Protected Landscape Area. It is an important traffic crossroads.
