Ted Colson

Edmund Albert "Ted" Colson (3 June 1881 – 27 February 1950) was a bushman, pastoralist and pioneer who achieved recognition as the first person of European descent to cross the Simpson Desert. He was born in South Australia near Quorn at the southern end of the Flinders Ranges.
