Tain

Tain (Scottish Gaelic: Baile Dhubhthaich ) is a market town, royal burgh and parish in the County of Ross, in the Highlands of Scotland. It is approximately 133 miles (214 km) north of Edinburgh, 135 miles (217 km) north-northeast of Glasgow, and 24 miles (38 km) north-northeast of Inverness. It had a population of 3,548 in 2022.
