Straight pride

Straight pride is a reactionary slogan and movement that emerged in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It has been used by some socially conservative groups as a political response to gay pride, a slogan adopted by the LGBTQ community in the early 1970s, as well as a rebuttal to gay liberation movements.
