Staphylococcus

Staphylococcus is a genus of Gram-positive, spherical bacteria in the family Staphylococcaceae. Cells occur singly, in pairs, tetrads, short chains, and characteristically in irregular, grape-like clusters. Most species are non-motile, non-spore-forming, and facultatively anaerobic.
