Semily (Czech pronunciation: ; German: Semil) is a town in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 8,000 inhabitants. The town is located at the confluence of the Jizera and Oleška rivers, on the border between the Giant Mountains Foothills and Ještěd–Kozákov Ridge.
