Municipalities of Bangladesh (Bengali: বাংলাদেশের পৌরসভা), officially known as Paurashavas, are urban local government institutions in Bangladesh. They are established to govern towns and smaller urban centres or cities and function under the Local Government Division of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives.
