Nadar (caste)

Nadar (also referred to as Nadan, Shanar and Shanan) is a Tamil caste of India. Nadars are predominant in the Tamil Nadu districts of Kanyakumari, Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli, Tenkasi and Virudhunagar.
