Lostwithiel

Lostwithiel (/lɒsˈwɪðiəl/; Cornish: Lostwydhyel) is a town and civil parish in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It stands at the head of the estuary of the River Fowey. At the 2021 census, the population of the parish was 3,070. The name Lostwithiel comes from the Cornish "lostwydhyel" which means "tail of a wooded area".
