Juche, officially the Juche idea, is a name of the official ideology of North Korea and its ruling Workers' Party of Korea (WPK). In the narrow sense, it is the philosophical component of the North Korean official ideology, also known as Kimilsungism–Kimjongilism, which emphasizes human independence, creativity, and consciousness as a motive force.
