Frederick Bakewell: Works, Other work & Biography

Frederick Collier Bakewell (29 September 1799 – 26 September 1869) was an English physicist who improved on the concept of the facsimile machine introduced by Alexander Bain in 1842 and demonstrated a working version at The Great Exhibition of 1851 in London.
