Falefā is located on the north eastern coast of Upolu island in Samoa. It was the ancient capital during the Malo ('government') of Tupu Tafaʻifa (King) Fonoti after defeating his kin Vaʻafusuaga Toleafoa and Samalaulu for control of Samoa.
