Eshtemoa

Eshtemoa (Hebrew: אֶשְׁתְּמֹעַ), also transcribed Ashtemoe, Eshtemo, and Esthama (Ancient Greek: Ἐσθαμά, Ἐσθεμά), was an ancient city in the Judaean Mountains, specifically in the southern Hebron Hills, mentioned several times in the Hebrew Bible. It is identified with the modern site of As-Samu'.
