Dry dock

A dry dock (sometimes drydock or dry-dock) is used for the construction, maintenance, and repair of ships, boats, and other watercraft. There are several basic types of dry docks: (1) Graving or Basin Docks, (2) Floating Dry Docks, (3) Marine Railways, (4) Vertical Lifts, (5) Marine Travel Lifts.
