David Peter Renwick (REN-wick; born 4 September 1951) is an English retired author, television writer, director and executive producer. He created the sitcom One Foot in the Grave and the mystery comedy crime drama series Jonathan Creek. He was awarded the Writers Guild Ronnie Barker Award at the 2008 British Comedy Awards.
