Date Chikamune

Date Chikamune (伊達周宗; DAH-tay; 9 April 1796 – 3 June 1812) was a mid-Edo period Japanese samurai, and the ninth daimyō of Sendai Domain in northern Japan, and the 25th hereditary chieftain of the Date clan.
