Dál gCais ([ˌd̪ˠaːlˠ ˈɡaʃ], sometimes known as the Dalcassians) are a Gaelic Irish clan, generally accepted by contemporary scholarship as being a branch of the Déisi Muman, that became very powerful in Ireland during the 10th century.
