The Chisca were a tribe of Native Americans living in present-day eastern Tennessee and southwestern Virginia in the 16th century. Their descendants, the Yuchi, lived in present-day Alabama, Georgia, and Florida between the 17th and early 19th centuries, and were removed to Indian Territory in the 1830s.
