Canidae

Canidae (/ˈkæn.ɪ.diː/; from Latin, canis, "dog") is a biological family of caniform carnivorans, constituting a clade. A member of this family is a canid (/ˈkæn.ɪd/, rarely /ˈkeɪ.nɪd/), colloquially referred to as dogs.
