Bunka (文化, culture) was a Japanese era name (年号, nengō; lit. 'year name') after Kyōwa and before Bunsei. The period spanned the years from January 1804 to April 1818. The reigning emperors were Kōkaku-tennō (光格天皇) and Ninkō-Tennō (仁孝天皇).
