Bamberg (/ˈbæmbɜːrɡ/, US also /ˈbɑːmbɛərk/, German: ⓘ; East Franconian: Bambärch) is a town in Upper Franconia, Bavaria, Germany, on the river Regnitz close to its confluence with the river Main.
