Athy (/əˈθaɪ/ ə-THY; Irish: Baile Átha Í, meaning ' ford of Ae') is a market town at the meeting of the River Barrow and the Grand Canal in south-west County Kildare, Ireland, 72 kilometres southwest of Dublin.
