In Greek mythology, Arcas (/ˈɑːrkəs/; Ancient Greek: Ἀρκάς, lit. 'Arcadian' or 'from Arcadia') was a hunter who became king of Arcadia. He was remembered for having taught people the arts of weaving and baking bread and for spreading agriculture to Arcadia.
