Vlastivěda je soubor přírodovědných a společenskovědných poznatků o vlasti, popřípadě o nějakém jejím regionu. Prohlubováním těchto poznatků a jejich prezentaci se věnují zejména vlastivědná muzea a vlastivědné kroužky. Podle zaměření lze rozlišovat specializované vlastivědy, např. historická vlastivěda apod.
