Tulipán (Tulipa) je rozsáhlý rod jednoděložných rostlin z čeledi liliovitých v užším pojetí (Liliaceae s. str.). Udává se nejméně asi 75 druhů ve čtyřech podrodech. Tulipány byly navíc intenzivně šlechtěny k okrasným účelům, takže existuje velká variabilita tvarů a barev.
