Tóhoku (japonsky: 東北地方; Tóhoku-čihó) je označení pro oblast ležící na největším japonském ostrově Honšú. Tóhoku v japonštině znamená „severovýchod“ a vystihuje tak přesně polohu regionu v severovýchodní části ostrova. Oblast je také nazývána Mičinoku (みちのく).
