Titanis

Titanis („Titán“) je rod vyhynulého nelétavého dravého ptáka z čeledi Phorusrhacidae, žijícího v období raného pliocénu až raného pleistocénu (asi před 5 až 1,8 milionu let). Byl vzdáleně příbuzný ještě větším forusracidům (mezi které patří i největší draví ptáci všech dob), jako byly rody Phorusrhacos nebo Kelenken.
