Thorium (chemická značka Th) je druhým prvkem z řady aktinoidů, radioaktivní kovový prvek. Díky velmi dlouhému poločasu rozpadu jader thoria se dá tento prvek najít v horninách zemské kůry a je potenciálním palivem v jaderné energetice.
