Staničení, též piketáž, je takový způsob udávání vzdáleností, kdy je vzdálenost místa měřena vždy od určitého výchozího bodu. V technickém kreslení se jako kótování staničením označuje udání poloh vzhledem k téže základně (na rozdíl od obecného kótování, které udává vzdálenost mezi dvěma body).
