Sentiment (z lat. sentimentum, cítění, cit) je stěží definovatelné citové zaujetí a bezprostřední hnutí mysli. Jako takový může být považován za přesněji neodůvoditelný vlastní logickou úvahou. Vyjádřený je osobním zaujetím, které může být přechodné nebo trvalé, nepodléhající zcela vědomé kontrole.
