Sauropodi (Sauropoda) byli příslušníci skupiny velkých až obrovských býložravých dinosaurů ze skupiny Saurischia (plazopánvých). Vyznačovali se většinou silně prodlouženým krkem, kvadrupední (čtyřnohou) chůzí, malou velikostí lebky v poměru k tělu a často velmi dlouhým ocasem.
