Ribozom

Ribozom je ribonukleoprotein nacházející se ve vysokých počtech v cytoplazmě všech známých buněk, u eukaryot také na povrchu hrubého endoplazmatického retikula. Jejich funkcí je tvorba proteinů – bílkovin. Probíhá na nich tzv. translace, při níž je z řetězce RNA syntetizován polypeptid.
