Ratifikace (z lat. ratus, platný a facere, udělat) je závazné potvrzení platnosti zvláště důležitého dokumentu, typicky mezinárodní smlouvy. V anglosaské oblasti se užívá i v soukromém právu, kde znamená potvrzení smlouvy, kterou sjednal nějaký agent, statutárním zástupcem.
