Proleženina (lat. decubitus) je ohraničená oblast poškozené kůže popř. podkožní tkáně. Vzniká v důsledku déletrvajícího působení tlaku zejména na kostní výčnělky, na kterých spočívá největší váha nemocného (např. křížová kost, patní kosti, lopatky, lokty atp.).
